This
is my 1982 Catalina Capri 30, #11 “Rock Lobster”

Rock
Lobster #87012 is FOR SALE
$7800
OBO

This is Catalina Capri 30 #11 which I bought in November 2004. It started its life out in Ventura CA as ‘Stay Tuned’. It was raced very successfully out there as a MORC boat between 1983 and 1985. No telling how it made its way out to the Chesapeake Bay, but here it is. We’ve raced this boat successfully since 2005 with SMSA in Southern Maryland. The boat is a great platform for the Chesapeake Bay with plenty of room for 8 crew to race on comfortably. Its masthead rig and light weight combined with small wetted surface make it especially fast in light air. Rates 111 (PHRF) on the Chesapeake Bay. This boat is race ready, with a good motor and sail inventory. It is currently hauled out of the water at Patuxent River, MD for the winter with sails and cushions stored indoors. $7800 OBO, as is. Local buyers only please.
